Objective:To explore the effect of umbilical vein catheterization combined with peripheral central vein catheterization in the treatment of premature infants. Methods:From April 2018 to November 2020,60 cases of premature infants were enrolled, the patients were divided into PICC group from April 2018 to March 2019 and umbilical vein+PICC group from April 2019 to November 2020 according to clinical application. The incidence rate of complications, therapeutic effect and success rate of PICC catheterization were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence rate of complications in umbilical vein+PICC group was lower than that in PICC group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The recovery time of birth quality, sufficient feeding time and length of hospital stays in the umbilical vein+PICC group were lower than those in the single PICC group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The success rate of first puncture in the umbilical vein+PICC group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of umbilical vein catheterization combined with peripheral central vein catheterization in the treatment of premature infants can effectively improve the safety, reduce the incidence rate of complications and accelerate the recovery and healthy growth of patients.
