Objective To explore and analyze the effect of predictive nursing in the elderly with severe pneumonia and its effect on the total satisfaction of nursing. Methods From December 2018 to December 2019,100 elderly patients with severe pneumonia were divided into two groups:routine nursing group and nursing intervention group.Routine nursing was performed in the routine nursing group, and predictive nursing was performed in the nursing intervention group. The incidence of complications, sleep quality and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results The incidence of complications such as septic shock, emphysema and bronchiectasis in the nursing intervention group(8.00%)was lower than that in the routine nursing group(24.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The sleep quality scores of the two groups were higher than that of the day of admission, and the scores of the nursing intervention group were higher, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of nursing intervention group(94.00%)was significantly higher than that of routine nursing group(72.00%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of predictive nursing in the elderly patients with severe pneumonia can improve the quality of sleep, increase the satisfaction of patients with nursing, and reduce the occurrence of complications.
