摘要
中国先进研究堆(CARR)是我国21世纪建成的高性能的多用途研究堆,是开展中子物理基础研究与应用、反应堆燃料与材料辐照性能研究以及放射性同位素辐照研发的重要科学研究和实验应用平台。CARR采用反中子阱型结构设计,以提供充分的空间进行水平中子束流孔道和垂直辐照孔道布置,提高了实验研究和辐照考验综合能力,满足多用途的需要。本文概要介绍CARR实验应用设施、主要用途、辐照与实验应用能力,以及这一科学研究平台的综合利用能力提升规划与未来发展。
China Advanced Research Reactor(CARR)is a high-performance and multi-purposes research reactor built in the 21 st century in China.It is an important scientific research and experimental utilization platform for basic research and application of neutron physics,research of reactor fuel and material irradiation performance and development of radio-isotopes production.CARR adopts an anti-neutron trap core design to provide sufficient space for horizontal neutron beam and vertical irradiation channels,which improves the comprehensive capacity of experimental research and irradiation tests to meet the needs of multi-purposes utilizations.The CARR utilization facilities,main uses,irradiation tests and experimental application capacities,as well as the enhancement program of comprehensive utilizations and future development of the scientific research platform were outlined in the paper.
