摘要
阐述了一种激光二极管叠阵以zigzag方式侧面泵浦多边形Nd∶YAG薄片放大器的模拟研究,建模对Nd∶YAG晶体内泵浦光的吸收情况进行了深入的数值模拟与分析,研究了晶体的Nd^(3+)掺杂浓度对泵浦光分布均匀性的影响。研究表明,采用多个方向泵浦和zigzag泵浦方式易于实现介质内泵浦光的均匀分布,在晶体的Nd^(3+)离子掺杂浓度为0.25at.%时,仿真得到的泵浦光吸收分布为平顶型,分布的均匀性均为0.0505。对侧面泵浦多边形薄片激光放大器的进一步研究提供了参考。
The simulation research of laser diode array(LDA)side-pumped Nd∶YAG polygonal thin-disk laser amplifier is reported.Numerical simulation of the pump light absorption in Nd∶YAG crystal using ray tracing software and study of the influences of Nd3+doping concentration on the pump light distribution.The research shows that multi-directional pumped and zigzag pumped methods are easy to achieve uniform distribution of pump light in the crystal,when the Nd3+doping concentration is 0.25 at.%,the Nd∶YAG polygonal thin-disk crystal has flat-top distribution of pump light and the pump light distribution uniformity is 0.0505.The research has important reference value for the optimized design and experimental research of side-pumped polygonal thin-disk laser.
