真空感应炉内流槽控流装置优化模拟 被引量:2

Optimization simulation of flow control device in launder of vacuum induction furnace

摘要 通过数值模拟和物理模拟相结合的方式对真空感应炉内流槽进行研究,在厂内原型控流装置上改变挡墙挡坝的位置以及数量,比较不同控流装置条件下流槽内部流体流动状态和夹杂物去除效果。结果表明,原型控流装置下流槽死区比例较大,达到了14.12%,RTD曲线峰值浓度较高,边部区域流迹线稀疏,流体流动状态较差,导致夹杂物去除率较低;在原型方案上增加1组挡墙挡坝,死区比例较原型方案降低了6.71%,平均停留时间增加了4.9 s,夹杂物去除率增加。这是由于增加了挡墙挡坝后流体能够通过挡坝到达流槽边部区域,有效降低边部死区体积,提高了夹杂物上浮概率。 Numerical simulation and physical simulation were combined to study the launder in the Vacuum induction furnace.Based on the prototype flow control device in the plant,the position and quantity of the baffle and dam were changed,and the flow state and the removal effect of inclusions in the launder under different control devices were compared.The results showed that the dead zone ratio with the prototype flow control device was relatively high,reaching 14.12%,the peak concentration of RTD curve was relatively high,the flow trace in the edge area is sparse,and the flow state is poor,resulting in a low inclusion removal rate.On the base of the prototype scheme,a group of baffle and dam were added,the dead zone ratio was 6.71%lower than that of the prototype scheme,and the average residence time increases by 4.9 s.This was due to the increase of the fluid flow through the dam to reach the edge area of the launder,effectively reducing the volume of the edge dead zone and improving the probability of inclusion floating.
