摘要
组蛋白甲基转移酶SUV4-20H为哺乳动物组蛋白H4第20位赖氨酸(H4K20)的特异性甲基转移酶,在人体组织中广泛表达。SUV4-20H蛋白本身及其介导的H4K20甲基化修饰,均可导致染色质致密化及基因抑制,从而影响调控基因的转录与表达。近年来,随着国内外学者的深入研究,SUV4-20H基因及其编码蛋白在组织器官发育、肿瘤疾病等生理及病理生理过程中的作用机制逐渐被揭示。本文对SUV4-20H基因及其编码蛋白的生物学特征及其在疾病发生发展过程中的作用进行综述,以期进一步理解甲基化转移酶对基因表达调控的影响,为相关疾病的预防和诊治奠定理论基础。
The histone methyltransferase SUV4-20 H is a specific methyltransferase of lysine at the 20 th position of the mammalian histone H4(H4 K20),which is widely expressed in human tissues. SUV4-20 H protein itself and the protein-mediated methylation of H4 K20 can lead to chromatin densification and gene inhibition,which regulate gene transcription and expression. In recent years,with in-depth studies on SUV4-20 H by domestic and foreign scholars,the mechanism of SUV4-20 H gene and SUV4-20 H protein action in the development of various tissues and organs,tumors,and other physiological and pathophysiological processes has been gradually revealed. This paper will outline the research progress on the SUV4-20 H gene,SUV4-20 H protein characteristics,biological functions,and their impact on disease progression,so as to understand the influence of methyltransferase on gene expression and regulation and lay a theoretical foundation for studies on the prevention,diagnosis,and treatment of related diseases.
