摘要
履行社会责任是民营企业建立政治关联的重要途径。本文根据利益相关者理论,将企业社会责任区分为对外和对内两种形式,并且将政治关联区分为体制资本和政治身份,进而研究了企业社会责任、体制资本与政治身份获取之间的关系。对2006年和2014年两期全国私营企业调查数据分析的结果显示:企业对外社会责任可以显著提高企业家获取政治身份的机会,而对内社会责任行为则会对比产生负向影响;拥有体制资本会降低企业家通过履行对外社会责任获取政治身份的可能性,但这一负向效应随着时间推移而消失。这表明市场化改革对优化政商关系、引导企业理性履行社会责任行为具有现实意义。
Fulfilling social responsibility is an important way for private enterprises to establish political connections.This study differentiates external and internal social responsibility based on the stakeholder theory,and classifies two forms of political connections:institutional capital and political identity.Then it examines the relationship among corporate social responsibility,institutional capital,and acquisition of political identity by using data of the China Private Enterprise Survey.It finds that the external social responsibility plays a statistically significant role in obtaining political identity for entrepreneurs,while the internal social responsibility has a significantly negative impact.Furthermore,institutional capital reduces the possibility of entrepreneurs getting political identity by fulfilling the external social responsibilities,but the negative effect disappears over time.The results above demonstrate that market-oriented reform in China has a significant influence on optimizing the relationship between government and private enterprises,and promotes entrepreneurs to fulfill due social responsibility.
