摘要
《好人难寻》是美国南方著名女作家弗兰纳里·奥康纳短篇小说的杰作,在美国众多的短篇小说中负有盛名。基于此,主要从小说的社会空间、小说中人物的心理空间以及空间重构、人格建构的成功与失败这三个方面入手,来探讨人物的生存境遇,处在公众空间中人物的畸形与异化,个体人格重新建构中的诸多尝试、波折与困境,个体又该何去何从,以及灵魂又该如何安放等问题,从而揭示奥康纳对个体的深刻认识,展现她对人性阴暗的深刻洞察。
A Good Man Is Hard To Find is a masterpiece of short stories written by Flannery O Connor,a famous writer of the southern United States.It is well-known among numerous short stories in the United States.Based on this,from three aspects of the social space of the novel,the psychological space of the characters in the novel,and the success and failure of the personality construction in the spatial reconstruction,this paper discusses the living circumstances of the characters,the deformity and alienation of the characters in the public space,the numerous attempts,twists and turns as well as difficulties in the reconstruction of individual personality,the direction of the individual and how to put the soul safely.Then it reveals O Connor's deep understanding of the individual and her deep insight into the darkness of human nature.
