摘要
日本《东方宗教》杂志所载著名学者任中敏先生致日本著名汉学家波多野太郎信札三通,为《任中敏文集》《任中敏先生诗词集》等书所未载。其内容关涉敦煌学“任、饶”公案及对诸多敦煌学家之评价,允为中日学术交流友好往来之一手材料,极具艺术、文献、文学等多重价值,理应重视。今一一整理点校,略加案识,公之于众,以飨同好。
Three letters sent by Ren Zhongmin to Taro Kitano,both distinguished scholars in the field of religious studies and anthropology in their respective countries,were published in the Japanese magazine Eastern Religions.These letters were not recorded in Collected Works of Ren Zhongmin and Collected Poems of Mr.Ren Zhongmin and must have belonged in the personal documents of professors Ren and Taro.The letters involves the public debates between“Ren Bantang and Rao Zhongyi”and includes evaluations of many Dunhuang scholars;the content and general tone of these letters is exemplary of the friendly academic exchanges between China and Japan.This paper analyzes the artistic,documentary,and literary value of these letters so as to share them with colleagues who may appreciate their value.
