摘要
CRISPR-Cas system is an adaptive immune system of bacteria and archaea to prevent against the foreign nucleic acids.Cas9,the signature Cas protein in type II CRISPR-Cas system,is an RNAguided DNA endonuclease.Cas9 cleaves target ds DNA via its Ruv C and HNH domains,and it is widely used for genome engineering applications.
