摘要
言语不礼貌研究从一开始就试图追问其规约化程式,然而在言语交际中,许多不礼貌事件并不包含所谓的规约化程式。Culpeper将这类不礼貌归类为蕴涵不礼貌,视之为不礼貌背后的机制。概念整合通过心理空间和概念隐喻的扩展,可以作为一种动态的意义建构理论和在线动态心理认知机制,将语言形式背后的人、事物、事件等语言或非语言概念与语用信息、文化信息等要素相结合,从而提供对话语意义的构建和理解。为此,本文拟从概念整合的视角,结合Culpeper的蕴涵不礼貌理论,进一步阐释《围城》中的蕴涵不礼貌话语的认知机制,尝试为不礼貌现象以及概念整合理论的研究提供新的视角。
Attention at the very beginning has been paid on conventionalized impoliteness.Needless to say,many impoliteness events do not involve conventionalized impoliteness formula at all.Culpeper classified such phenomena as implicational impoliteness,claiming it as“the mechanisms by which impoliteness occurs”.Conceptual blending,extended from mental space and conceptual metaphor,can work as a dynamic meaning-construction theory and online dynamic psychological cognitive mechanism,which makes it able to blend those verbal or non-verbal concepts behind the linguistic forms with other elements such as pragmatic information and cultural information,then providing construction and understanding of various factors which construct impoliteness.Hence,with the construal power of conceptual blending,this paper aims to explore further the cognitive mechanism of implicational impoliteness in Fortress Besieged,trying to provide a new insight into the studies of impoliteness phenomena and conceptual blending.
