Streamflow Variation of Gulang River from May to July Recorded by Tree Ring over the Past 158 Years

摘要 探讨全球变暖背景下西北地区内陆河的历史径流变化特征,有助于认识区域水文气候变化过程及其变化规律,为西北地区内陆河农业的可持续发展和区域水资源合理规划利用提供参考。以腾格里沙漠东南缘古浪河为研究对象,利用沙漠东南缘昌岭山自然保护区油松树轮宽度资料,建立差值年表,分析树木径向生长与流域径流之间的关系,重建了昌岭山地区古浪河158 a以来5—7月河流径流变化历史,并对其径流变化特征进行分析。结果表明:重建方程的方差解释量为50.9%,调整方差为49%,交叉检验参数结果表明转换方程是稳定可靠的;古浪河158 a以来5-7月河流径流变化经历了3个丰水期、4个枯水期和12个平水期,且河流丰枯水期与历史记载的洪涝和干旱时间较为一致;158 a来河流特丰水年占总年份的23%,偏丰水年多于偏枯水年3%,特丰水年和偏丰水年占43%,特枯水年和偏枯水年占39%,表明古浪河158 a以来5-7月河流径流变化较大;河流径流具有110、60、11 a以及4-5 a周期,4-5 a周期与ENSO变化周期一致,11、60、110 a周期与太阳活动周期相关,说明古浪河径流对全球大尺度气候变化具有一定程度的响应。 Under the background of global warming,Exploring the historical streamflow variation characteristics of inland rivers in the Northwestern China is helpful to understand the regional hydrological and climate change,and to provide a scientific support for the sustainable development of agriculture and the proper utilization of water resources in inland river areas,Northwest China.In this study,we took Gulang River as a research object,which is a typical agricultural area and strongly affect the regional development in Gansu Province.First,we established residual chronology table and analyzed the relationship between tree growth and streamflow of Gulang River,based on the tree ring data of Pinus tabulaeformis in the Changling Mountain Nature Reserve.Then we reconstructed the historical change of Gulang River streamflow from May to July over the past 158 years,and summarized the characteristics of streamflow variation.Our results showed that:the reconstruction model explained 50.9%of the variation of Gulang River streamflow,and adjusted variance was 49%,proving that the reconstruction model was stable and reliable.The streamflow of Gulang River from May to July over the past 158 years has experienced three times high flow periods,four times low flow periods and twelve times normal flow periods.The high-and the low flow periods coincided with the flood-and drought years in historical records,respectively.37 years of the extremely-high streamflow occurred over the past 158ain the reconstruction model,accounting for 23%of the total length of years.The percentage of above-average streamflow years was 3%than the below-average streamflow years.The extremely-high-and above-average streamflow years together appeared 68 times which accounted for 43%of the total years.The extremely-low-and below-average streamflow years together appeared 62 times which accounted for 39%of the total years.These above results indicated that the change of streamflow of Gulang River was unstable greatly from May to July over the past 158 years.There existed clear periods of 110 a,60 a,11 a and 4‒5 a in the streamflow of Gulang River,which was consistent with the ENSO and solar activity.This meant that the Gulang River had a certain degree of response to climate change at a lager global scale.
