摘要
技术中介理论认为技术对人的感知和行为发挥着调节作用。维贝克在道德物化思想中进一步提出,技术人工物作为道德能动者,能够对人的行为和决策产生道德意义上的引导和规范作用。从伦理实践进路来看,技术人工物的引导功能侧重于主体性的"个人-德性",有助于个人德性的塑造和养成;而规范功能侧重于主体间的"社会-秩序",强调社会公共空间中人的行为规范。尽管技术人工物有其自身的优势,但仍需理性对待其在伦理实践中的局限性。总之,道德物化从"后人类主义"的视角,提供了一种新的伦理实践进路。
Technological Mediation Theory holds that technology plays a mediating role in the perception and behavior of human beings.In Materializing Morality,Peter-Paul Verbeek further proposes that technological artefacts as a moral agent,and it has the effect of guidance and norm on moral decision-making and action of the human beings.From the perspective of ethics practice,the guidance effect is more inclined to the choice of subjectivity(individual-morality),and it helps or shapes the cultivation of personal morality.The normative effect is more inclined to the inter-subject(society-order),and it emphasizes the norm of behavior of people in social public space.Although technical artifact has its own advantages,its limitations should be rethought rationally in ethical practice.In a word,Materializing Morality provides a new approach of ethics practice from the perspective of post-humanism.
