科技创新人才培养的新路径:美国科技高中的探索与启示 被引量:8

New Approaches for Cultivating Talents in Science and Technology:Experience and Lessons from STEM High School in the U.S.

摘要 美国科技创新人才培养重心的下移为美国保持世界科学中心地位提供了坚实基础:本文以美国表现突出的7所科技特色高中为例,分析比较这类学校如何通过课程结构、课程内容和教学方法的变革支持科技创新人才培养。研究发现,“共同基础的低平”和“选择领域的精深”相结合的课程设计,支持了学生的广度学习和在兴趣/特长领域的深度学习;充分注重学生的研究、研讨、设计,采用问题解决和项目式学习的教学创新,支持了学生科技创新关键能力的发展:此外,适切的评价系统、课程教学决策的情境化和专业化有助于系统推动创新人才的培养。 The downward shift in the development of creative talents in science and technology in the U.S.has laid a solid foundation for the United States to maintain its position as the world science center.The paper investigates seven outstanding STEM high schools in the U.S.and reveals how they support the development of talents in science and technology though innovations in curriculum structure,curriculum contents and teaching methods.The research indicates that the curriculum design characterized by the combination of"flat common foundationn and"deep selective fields"can support both the wide learning in science and technology and deep learning in the specialized field selected.The teaching method emphasizing research,seminar,design,problemsolving and project-based learning can support the development of key competencies for creativity in science and technology.On system level,appropriate evaluation system,and contextualization and professionalism in curriculum and instruction decision-making can promote the exploration and practice in the field.
