Na2CO3添加剂和反应温度对碳热还原法制备碳化硼的影响

摘要 为了制备高品质、结晶良好的碳化硼,以石油焦和硼酸为原料,Na2CO3为添加剂,通过碳热还原法采用中频感应炉进行冶炼,研究了Na2CO3添加量(质量分数分别为2%、3%和5%)和反应温度(1 600、1 700、1 800和1 900℃)对制备碳化硼的影响。结果表明:随着Na2CO3添加量的增加,生成碳化硼的晶体尺寸逐渐增大,且晶粒形状趋于规则的多面体型,晶粒表面较为光滑,较好的Na2CO3添加量为3%(w);随着冶炼温度的升高,B 4C结晶化程度提高,游离碳含量减少,且晶型逐渐趋于规则,1 800℃为冶炼的较优温度;B 4C晶体显示明显的螺纹生长痕迹,表明其晶粒的生长符合螺旋位错生长。 In order to obtain boron carbide with high quality and good crystallization,the specimens were prepared by carbothermal reduction method in an intermediate frequency induction furnace using petroleum coke and boric acid as starting materials,and Na2CO3 as an additive.Effects of Na2CO3 additions(2%,3%and 5%,by mass)and reaction temperatures(1 600,1 700,1 800 and 1 900℃)on the preparation of boron carbide were studied.The results show that with the increase of Na2CO3 addition,the crystal size of boron carbide increases gradually and the grain shape tends to be regular polyhedral;the grain surface is smooth and the best Na2CO3 addition is 3%.With the increase of smelting temperature,the crystallization degree of B 4C increases and the free carbon content decreases,and the crystal shape tends to be regular;the optimum smelting temperature is 1 800℃.B 4C crystal shows obvious thread growth trace,indicating that the grain growth of the crystal is in accordance with the growth of the screw dislocation.
