摘要
刘海粟艺术表现说在其美学思想中处于核心地位,其主旨为“艺术是生命的表现”。该表现说中西融合、着意高远,旨在培育既有历史的传承、又有创新的精神;既有健全的人格与艺术趣味,又有高远的人文境界与人文情怀的艺术观。本文首先梳理“表现”概念在西方美学史中的溯源发展,接着阐释刘海粟艺术表现说的两大核心:生命本质观和绘画表现观,最后从历史和文化两方面探讨其表现说的当代启示。
Liu Haisu’s artistic expression is at the core of his aesthetic thoughts. His main theme is “art is the expression of life.” This far-sighted view of expression integrates the aesthetic thoughts of both traditional China and early modern Europe. It aims to cultivate an understanding of art that embraces both historical heritage and innovative spirit, both delicate artistic taste and lofty humanistic sentiment. This paper firstly sorts out the traceability development of the concept of “ expression “ in the history of Western aesthetics, and then explores the two cores of Liu Haisu’s artistic expression: the concept of life essence and painting expression. This paper concludes with a discussion of the contemporary implications of the view of expression from both historical and cultural perspectives.
