Objective To explore the value of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) patients receiving combination therapy of ethinylestradiol and metformin. Methods In patients with polycystic ovary syndrome as the research object, the number of cases of 100 cases, from January 2016 to January 2018, grouped by segmentation randomized method, including the control implementation ethinylestradiol cyproterone treatment, the experimental group was implemented ethinylestradiol and cyproterone metformin combination therapy, and analyzed the results of two groups treatment in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome. Results The levels of testosterone, luteinizing hormone, basal follicle stimulating hormone and prolactin in the two groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment. The testosterone and luteinizing hormone levels in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The ovulation rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Compared with ethinyl estradiol cyproterone tablets alone, patients with polycystic ovary syndrome receive ethinyl estradiol cyproterone tablets in combination with metformin, which can reduce testosterone and luteinizing hormone levels more effectively.
