Objective To explore the curative effect of low-intensity aerobic training on the balance ability of the elderly. Methods 12 elderly≥80 years old were selected and were kept giving low-intensity aerobic training intervention for 3 months;Power Rehabilitation System was applied in evaluating the balance ability before and after intervention. Results After intervention, the balance comprehensive score and the scores of the 1st,the 2nd,the 3rd and the 6th items in the system were much higher than those before intervention(P<0.05,P<0.01);no obvious changes were found in heart rate and blood pressure after intervention. Conclusions Low-intensity aerobic training, simple and safe, can improve the balance ability of the elderly.
