Julian Barnes is one of the most famous novelists in modern Britain.His works are various in form and profound in thought,which are closely followed by readers around the world and critics.His novel“England,England”reproduces the content,function and inheritance mode of historical memory from various angles artistically,revealing the important influence and consequences of power,economy,consumption and social psychology on the construction of historical memory,and providing enlightenment for us to deeply understand historical memory.
