摘要
彩色图像的灰度化仍是当今数字图像处理的一个热点。在将彩色图像转换为灰度图的过程中,信息丢失是一个无法避免的难题。为进一步减少彩色图像灰度化过程中重要信息丢失的问题,给出了一种对比度增强的彩色图像灰度化改进算法。首先,在映射函数中增加了饱和度分量,使亮度或色调值接近但饱和度差异较大的像素灰度化后的灰度值差异更加明显;其次,有效保持了输入图像中灰度像素的特征。大量实验结果表明,算法效果优于传统灰度算法,能保存图像更多的细节对比度信息。
The gray scale of color images is still a hot spot in today's digital image processing.It is an unavoidable problem that losing information in the process of converting a color image into a gray scale.In this paper,a contrast enhancement algorithm for color image gray scale is present to further reduce the loss of important information in the process of color-to-gray scale.Firstly,a saturation component is added to the mapping function by using the nonlinear mapping function and parameterizing the pixel's gray value into a four dimensional vector,the difference of different saturation in the gray scale values of pixels with the same brightness and hue is more apparent.Secondly,in order to maintain the characteristics of gray pixels in the input image,an improved gray preservation item is adopted.A large number of experimental results show that the algorithm of this paper is better than the traditional gray-scale algorithm and can save more detailed information of the original color image.
