Superposition of Sandstone Formations and Patterns in Residual Oil Distribution

摘要 针对不同砂体叠置类型下水驱流线及剩余油分布规律不明确的问题,以孤东油田七区西区块的地质条件为基础建立概念模型,利用流线数值模拟方法,对储层内部砂体叠置构型进行深入分析,模拟不同空间叠置类型下的油水渗流状态,观察流线的分布及变化,剖析剩余油的分布规律。研究结果表明:砂体叠置对流线分布、剩余油的驱替有重要影响作用,剩余油分布呈现叠置区域上部高于下部,边缘区域高于中心区域的规律。流线趋向于保持在原砂体内渗流,泥岩及叠置面的存在改变了流线的方向,造成泥岩、泥岩附近和叠置交界面处易形成剩余油富集区。该研究对认识层内剩余油的分布规律、提高流线驱替效率及油藏开发后期的方案调整具有重要指导意义。 There are great uncertainties in distribution patterns of flow lines and residual oil in reservoirs with different superposition of sandstone formations.Accordingly,conceptual models were constructed on bases of geologic conditions in western parts of Block 7 in the Gudong Oilfield.Through numerical simulation of flow lines,it is possible to conduct in-depth analysis over superposition patterns in reservoir formations,to simulate oil/water seepage conditions in different spatial superposition states,to highlight distribution and changes of flow lines and to determine patterns in distribution of residual oil.Research results show superposition of sandstone formations has significant impacts on flow lines’distribution and displacement of residual oil.Generally speaking,distribution of residual oil within the zones with superposition of sandstone formations is characterized by denser distribution in higher parts and marginal sections than that in lower parts and central sections.Flow lines are inclined to maintain seepage within the original sandstone formations,whereas existence of mudstone and superposition surfaces may change directions of flow lines.Accordingly,enrichments of residual oil can be found in and near mudstone formations and around superposition surfaces.Relevant research conclusions may provide valuable guidance to clarify patterns of residual oil distribution in the formation,to enhance flow lines displacement efficiencies and to optimize development programs in later development stages.
