民国时期商务印书馆下设的东方图书馆,曾是闻名一时的面向公众开放的大型私立图书馆。文章概述该馆阅读推广服务和活动,分析其对当今阅读推广工作的启示。
Dong Fang Library,an affiliate of Commercial Press,was once a famous private library opening its door to the general public in the period of Republican China.This paper summarizes the reading service and reading promotion activities of the library,from which inspiration would be drawn for today’s library reading promotion.
