In the present design and practice of high-rise buildings, architects tend to pay more attention to the design of building space and the behavior and psychological research of users, while ignoring its impact on urban traffic system improvement and urban life shaping. The lack of convergence between high-rise buildings and urban transport system leads to a loss of urban public space, and a series of problems including urban traffic congestion. This paper explains how the urban high-rise building complex is closely linked with the urban public transport through the study of the cases of Pacific Place in Hong Kong and Hanyu Jingu in Jinan, and summarizes the integration design principles of high-rise buildings and urban public transport system through the integrated design cases of the two urban traffic spaces in Hong Kong and Jinan,so as to provide references for future practical projects.
