摘要
羊蹄甲属Bauhinia植物为华南地区代表性景观树种。本文通过属的命名来由、植物化石考古记录、现存古树资源调查结果、植物志考证、文艺作品五个方面对该属进行考源,意在辨析其名实并追溯观花历史文化。据可考资料,洋紫荆Bauhinia variegata于晚清时广泛种植;羊蹄甲B.purpurea为同时期应用的庭院树。红花羊蹄甲B.×blakeana从香港引进,嘉氏羊蹄甲B.galpinii和黄花羊蹄甲B.tomentosa为海外引进种,此三种最早出现在民国时期的中山大学康乐园。
The genus Bauhinia are ornamental trees in south China.In this paper,we discussed the genus history in five aspects:the etymology of the genus name,fossil record,ancient trees floras and literary works.According to our literature survey,Bauhinia variegata was planted extensively in late Qing dynasty,and B.purpurea was cultivated during the same period.B.×blakeana was introduced from Hong Kong,while B.galpinii and B.tomentosa were introduced from abroad.The later three species were firstly cultivated in Sun Yat-sen university during the Minguo period.
