On Chinese Emigrants to Thailand before Mid-20th Century

摘要 中国华南地区为主体的中国人向泰国迁移的历史最早可追溯到宋元时期,并在19世纪中后期至20世纪中期达到高潮。以在泰国、中国华南地区搜集到的一手资料及外文资料为主,对中国人外迁泰国的历史做了简要的回顾、对泰国华人的数量和构成及移民的原因进行了探讨。 With firsthand materials collected in Thailand and south China,this article mainly reviews the emigration history to Thailand.A detailed discussion is given concerning the outsourcing,the number and composition of Thai Chinese emigrants.
