前言 园林的组成以山水地形为骨骼,植物为衣饰,而建筑则如眉、眼点缀其间;园林建筑中有餐厅、展览室、小卖亭、厕所等实用性建筑;还有以赏景、点景为主的休息游览性建筑,如亭、榭、廊、塔等,以及建筑小品(灯、栏杆等)和雕塑(如图)。
The authors discuss the problems about the history of application of sculpture fonlandscape gardening in China.Since very ancient times Chinese emperor's gardenwere decorated with various kinds of soclpture. Now in the Summer Plance in Beijingthere still exist sculptures, sach as stone lions bronze cow,and so on.The applicationof sculpture was much more popular in the parks and garden; of foreign countriesthan in China. Never theless after the liberation of our country,Sculpture applicatiorextends in the socialist parks from year to year. Several principles of applying sculpture for landscape gardening are given in thepaper: 1. Determining the subject and choising the place of sculpture. 2. Sculpture must fit in with its environment, in which it is located. 3. The ideal aspect of Sculpture. 4. The relationship between the size of the sculpture and the distance aud cornerof sight. 5 Tb relationship between the sculpture and the arrangement of plants.
