摘要
在车牌字符识别算法中,虽然传统的模板匹配算法具有算法简单、运算速度高等优点,但传统的模板匹配算法识别率低,特别是对于相似字符或者分割出的字符存在倾斜情况时,识别率会大大降低。基于多模板匹配的算法增加了模板的差异化特征,并且加速了模板匹配过程,大大提高了车牌识别正确率与运行速度。
In the license plate character recognition algorithm,although the traditional template matching algorithm has the advantages of simple algorithm,high speed of operation,but the rate of traditional template matching algorithm recognition is low,especially for the similar or declining characters,the recognition rate will be greatly reduced.The algorithm based on multi template matching increases the differentiation characteristics of the templates,accelerates the template matching process,and greatly improves the license plate recognition accuracy and running speed.
