The Ba 6p n d autoionizing states have been systematically studied using a three step ICE approach combined with the polearized excitation technique. The 6p n d( J =1,2) autoionizing spectra with n =7~41 excited from 6s n p 1D 2 and with n =7~29 excited from 6s n p 3D 2 have been measured, and the different spectroscopic properities between the 6p 1/2 n d and 6p 3/2 n d series have been detailed discussed by fitting the experimental spectra to signal and multi Lorentz profiles, respectively.
