摘要
河北省抚宁县石门寨地区的奥陶纪地层,自1920年以来就有许多地质古生物学家研究过,并进行过大小不同比例尺的地质工作。60年代以来又有近40多所大专院校的师生在此进行教学和研究。长期以来都未发现马家沟组,并认为该地区的奥陶系只有冶里组和亮甲山组而缺失马家沟组。这次所发现的马蒙沟组是从长期定为亮甲山组的上部地层中分出来的。马家沟组在本区厚约110余米。
The Liangjiashan section near shimenzai in Funing county of Hebei Province, established by A.W.Grabau in 1922, is the type section of the Liangjiashan Formation of the Lower Ordovician.The Majiagon Formation discovered now is the upper part of the formerly called Liangjiashan Formation. The main lithology of the Majiagon Formation in this area are dolomite and dolomitie limestone with a total thickness of 110 m, having dolomite of clastic gravel in the basal part.The main fossils are:Cephalopoda. Stereoplasmoceras sp, Polydesmia canaliculata Lorenz forma magna Kobayashi, Armenoceras submarginale (Kobagashi), Ormoceras Subma-rginale (Kobagshi) Ormoceras cf. suanpanoidos, Pseudeskimoceras cf.marginale, Chisiloceras reedi (Yu), Lichengoceras nagaoi Obata, Mesosendoceras sp. etc.; Gastropoda. Maclurites Neritodes (Eichwald), Donaldiella sp.; Tribita: Eosotelus sp.; Brachiopoda, stromatoporoidea, Ostracoda etc.Both the lithology and fossils of the Majiagon Formation in this area can be correlated with that in Kaiping of Hebei(including the lower Majiagou Formation and the upper Majiagou Formation).
