摘要
Under the background of the Belt and Road initiative, the institutions of higher learning also face new opportunities andchallenges. This paper illustrates Nanjing University's practices and thoughts in the advancement of the B & R initiative, believingthat universities shall actively participate in the building of the Belt and Road initiative. As a member of the University Alliance ofBelt and Road, Nanjing University not only fully displays its own advantages, but also explores the development approaches whichare in accordance with the characteristics of Nanjing University. Those practices and thoughts will help to provide feasible develop-ment directions for Chinese universities in advancing the Belt and Road initiative.
