美国高校研究生助教培训体系探索及对中国研究型大学的启示——以美国密西根大学为例 被引量:7

Research on the Teaching Assistant Training System in American Universities and Its Enlightenment to Chinese Research Universities——Taking the University of Michigan as Example

摘要 美国密西根大学(又称密歇根大学)作为一所研究型大学,其本科毕业生对其所接受的教学质量给予了极高的评价,这得益于该校大规模的助教在教学方面发挥了不可或缺的作用。助教培训在密西根大学历史悠久,已经形成了一套完备的培训方案,包括教学模拟情景剧、并行工作坊、包容性教学培训、微课练习等。同时,对助教的过程性指导、研究生教学证书项目、卓越助教评审制度也取得了良好效果。密西根大学完备而卓有成效的助教培训体系对中国研究型大学的启示如下:(1)从助教的需求出发设计助教培训方案;(2)帮助助教在科研和教学方面找到平衡;(3)过程性指导和期末考核相结合;(4)为提高未来的大学教师教学能力助力。 The University of Michigan in America (namely the University of Michigan) is a research university.Its graduates are highly satisfied with the undergraduate education quality,which is benefited from the large-scale teaching assistants (TA) playing an indispensable role.It has a long history and formed a comprehensive training program of TA training at the University of Michigan,including teaching theater,concurrent workshops,inclusive teaching training,micro-lesson exercises,etc.Besides,the formative evaluation and guidance of TAs' teaching work,graduate teaching certificate program,and excellent TA award have also achieved a good effect.Enlightenment for Chinese research universities from the complete and effective TA training system at the University of Michigan is as follows:(1)designing the TA training program to meet the needs of the TA;(2)helping TA to balance research and teaching work;(3)combining progress guidance and final-exam evaluation;(4)improving teaching competency of future teachers in university.
