摘要
目的为建设体育英语参照语料库提供一个理论框架和操作指引。方法首先从体育的社会性,主要包括体育的民族性、文化性和经济性3个方面,厘清主要体育项目,明确语料取样的对象和渠道。其次,以语域类型为参考,对体育英语话语进行分类,为体育英语语料库子库的组成提供语言学依据。结果根据语料库语料均衡原则,初步确定了不同体育分类和语域分类的话语权重的差异,语料采样时需体现出这种差异才可以保证语料的均衡性。结论这个"社会-语言-量化"的三维模式,从语料构成和语料大小两方面为建设体育英语参照语料库建设提出了一个整体构想。
Purposes—To provide a theoretical model and an operational guidance for the compilation of a reference corpus of sports English.Methods—First,all the main sports were clarified with reference to the external social factors in relation to national,cultural and economic differences in order to establish the objects and channels for data collection.Then,all the maintypesof sportsdiscoursewere differentiated in terms of registers,or text typology,which forms the linguistic basis for the compilation of sub-corpora in the reference corpus.Results—The importance of the balance of texts in the reference corpus was emphasized.The balance means to embody the difference of discourse weight among the sub-corpora,or the components of the reference corpus,in terms of sports categories and text types.Conclusion—This 3 dimensional model of society-language-quantification,ranging from the sportsclassification to the functional thoughts of text types,and the determination of the proportion of different texts,makes a holistic idea for the compilation of a reference corpus of sport English.
