Notes on Speech Act Theory

摘要 有关言语行为理论的过往研究多偏重施事行为,对取效行为几无论及。倍受青睐的施事行为是否尚存讨论空间?倍受冷落的取效行为是否确有关注价值?此两问题便是本文探究的出发点。我们拟依循Halliday的言语交际观,以给予(giving)和求取(demanding)为参数,在Austin言语行为理论框架内尝试把施事行为区分为:求取式言语行为、主动给予式言语行为和回应性给予式言语行为三类,并增补言语取效准则,以消减过往研究的繁杂,规避人们对取效行为的误解。 Discontented with the cumbersome portrayal of the illocutionary act and absent treatment to the perlocutionary act in the previous studies on speech acts, the author tends to focus on the questions whether the illocutionary act remains space for further discussion, and how to treat the perlocutionary act fairly. Following Halliday's concept of language communication and his view of giving and demanding, we divide the illocutionary act into three subtypes: demanding act, initiative giving act and responsive giving act, and supplement the maxim of speech utility for the perlocutionary act, within the framework of Austin's speech act theory, so as to simplify the complicated and redundant explorations on the illocutionary act, while avoiding the misunderstanding of the perlocutionary act.
