摘要
通过比较分析李锐、王鸣盛和江声等人对《尚书·召诰》日名问题的研究,阐明清代乾嘉学者以古历推算史事年代的实践、方法特点和意义。他们根据《召诰》《洛诰》等文本中的月相及相应日名,利用性质类似的古六历和《四分历》对周初历日进行推算,支持东汉经学家郑玄的结论。其中,王鸣盛和江声的推算比较简略;李锐则撰写专论,详考郑玄在其他经注中的历法计算,并依照经其校补的《四分历》术文,推算出周初史事年谱和部分月日谱。这种以古历推算为基础的年代学研究方法,对罗士琳、李善兰、汪曰桢等后来的学者有着重要的影响。
By comparing and analyzing the studies of Li Rui,Wang Mingsheng,and Jiang Sheng on the issue of sexagesimal day names in the Announcement by the Duke of Shao in the Book of Documents,this paper elucidates their practices of chronological calculation by using ancient calendrical systems during the Qianlong and Jiaqing Reigns in the Qing Dynasty. The characteristics,influence,and significance of this kind of the practices are discussed as well.According to the lunar phases and the corresponding sexagesimal stems and branches of the dates in the Announcement by the Duke of Shao and in the Announcement in the Capital of Luo,the three scholars used the Six Ancient Calendrical Systems or/and Quarter-Remainder Calendrical System to calculate the calendar in the early Zhou Dynasty,thereby approving Zheng Xuan＇s conclusion made in the East Han Dynasty.The calculations by Wang Mingsheng and Jiang Sheng are brief;Li Rui wrote a monograph and calculated the chronology and part of the calendar in detailed by examining the calendrical calculation in other commentaries on classics by Zheng Xuan,following the procedures in the Quarter-remainder Calendrical System that had been collated by himself.This method for the chronological study based on the calculation by using ancient calendrical system had an important influence later on scholars like Luo Shilin,Li Shanlan,Wang Yuezhen,and so on.
