摘要
在英语文学作品的创作过程中,作家们总是尽可能地大量运用各种陌生化手法。俄国形式主义认为,陌生化手法的运用是增强作品文学性的重要手段和方法。一般而言,按照语言的语音层面及语法结构单位层面的不同,陌生化手法可以大致归为四类:语音层面的陌生化手法、词汇层面的陌生化手法、句法层面的陌生化手法以及篇章层面的陌生化手法。本文即从这四个层面一一展开陌生化手法在英语文学作品中的大致体现,以示其在文学作品的结构形成与意义表达上所产生的重要影响。
In English literature works,many writers adopt a great number of defamiliarization techniques. The Russian formalists holdthe viewpoint that applying the technique of defamiliarization in literary writing is a very important way to enhance a work’s literariness.According to the levels of linguistics and structure organization in a piece of literary writing,the artistic techniques of defamiliarization can be devived into four types.And they are phonetics defamiliarization,lexical defamiliarization,syntactic defamiliarization and discourse defamiliarization.This paper offers a general manifestation of the application of the four types of defamiliarization in literature works and tires to show the significant influence that the utilization of defamiliarization has brought on the aspects of organizing text structure and conveying literary meaning.
