内蒙古地震预测回顾与期望

摘要 1970年以来,内蒙古地区连续发生了1976年和林格尔6.2、巴音木仁6.2、1979年五原6.0、1996年包头6.4级等地震,内蒙古中西部地区所在的鄂尔多斯地块北缘已经成为华北北部地区中强地震新的主体活动区域,回顾40多年内蒙古自治区中强地震预测预报工作经历,收获更多的是教训和遗憾。地震是一种自然现象,地震的孕育、发展、发生是有规律可寻的,内蒙古40多年的地震预测实践表明,地震是有前兆的,坚持经验预报和物理预报两条腿走路,经验预报具有现实的必然性、必要性以及内在的科学价值,坚定地震预报的理想和信念,坚持不懈地探索,地震预报这一世界科学难题最终将会取得实质性进展。 Moderately strong earthquakes has continuously occurred in the Inner Mon-golia area including Helingeer M6. 2 in 1976, Ba Memuru M6. 2 in 1976, Wuyuan M6. 0 in 1979 , and Baotou M6. 4 in 1996 etc. Since 1970 , the central and western regions of the Inner Mongolia and the northern margin Ordos block have become a new main active region in north China. Work experience of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region earthquake predic-tion has been reviewed for more than 40 years and lessons and regrets are learned. The earthquake is a natural phenomenon, although there is a rule can be found in earthquake oc-currence and development. The earthquake prediction practice shows that there is a precur-sor of earthquake in the Inner Mongolia for more than 40 years. Adhere to the empirical pre-diction and physical prediction, the empirical prediction has a practical necessity and the val-ue of science. With ideals and beliefs on firm earthquake prediction and relentless explora-tion, earthquake prediction, a difficult scientific problem in the world, will eventually make substantial progress.
