摘要
晚唐儒宗林慎思,采用续作《孟子》的形式阐发自己的政治思想和忧世感时之论,希望借助孟子之口,来表达自己匡世救俗、兴邦救国的意图。他接续和宣讲了孟子的"君正莫不正"、以民为本思想,承续了孟子的义利观和人才观,这种以意说经的做法,一方面,结合社会现实对儒家义理进行了"委曲发明",切中肯綮;另一方面,在某种程度上也对宋儒解经范式的转型产生了一定的影响。
Lin Shensi, a master of Confucianism in late Tang Dynasty, continued the classic work Mencius to elucidate his own political thoughts and express his worldly concerns, in the hope of expressing his intention of rectifying worldly affairs and vitalizing the state by means of Mencius＂ words. He continued and preached Mencius＂ thoughts that ＂there＇s no one who isn＇t righteous if the monarch is righteous＂ and that ＂the people are the foundation of the state＂. He also inherited Menciug idea of morality, profit and talents. On the one hand, this practice of interpreting classic work with one＇s own intention ＂indirectly expounded＂ Confucian moral principles through its combination with social reality, being of striking appropriateness and pertinence. On the other hand, this practice influenced to some extent the transformation of Confucian classics interpreting paradigm in Song Dynasty.
