地铁音乐是独特的艺术形式,也是城市地铁站中的特色元素。在纽约,地铁音乐非常普遍、成熟,成为著名的城市文化。本文介绍苏茜·坦尼鲍姆(Susie J.Tanenbaum)所著《地下的和谐:纽约地铁中的音乐和政治》一书中纽约地铁音乐的斗争历史、空间特征、运营方式等内容,明确地铁音乐对地铁站空间塑造中的作用,并结合北京正在大规模建设地铁的现状,探讨了通过艺术形式塑造北京地铁站空间的相关问题。
Subway music is an unique lbrm of art. and makes a special feture in subway stations, lu New York, subway music is very common and has become a lamous culture of the city. This artical introduces Susie J. Tanenbaum＇s Underground Harmonics： Music and Politics in the Subway of New York： The book examines the history of struggle, the spatial charactcristics and the mode of opelation and administration of subway music, which also gives enlightenment on development of space of subway stations in Beijing City, as Beijing is in a period of developing large amount of subways.
