摘要
牛磺酸(taurine)在大脑中含量丰富,对中枢神经系统具有重要作用,其可作为神经递质,参与细胞的生理活动;可作为神经营养因子,参与中枢神经系统的发育;也可作为渗透调节物质,调节钙的运输;同时牛磺酸还是神经保护剂,维持细胞膜结构的完整性,对谷氨酸产生的神经毒作用及内质网应激、线粒体紊乱具有保护作用。论文主要从神经递质、神经营养因子及神经保护作用等方面对牛磺酸在动物中枢神经系统的作用进行阐述,旨在为牛磺酸在动物神经发育及神经损伤修复中的应用提供参考。
Taurine, one of the most abundant amino acid in mammalian brain, plays important roles in the development of central nervous system (CNS) in animals. As a neurotransmitter, taurine participates in physiological processes of neurons~ as a neurotrophic factor, taurine takes part in the development of CNS, as an osmoregulator, taurine regulates the transportation of calcium, and as a neuroprotectant, tau- rine maintains the integrity of cell membrane structure and plays neuroprotective role in increasing neuro- nal survival under the conditions of gultamate-induced cytotoxicity, mitochondrial stress, and endoplasmic stress. Therefore, the roles of taurine as neurotransmitter, neurotrophic and neuroprotectant factor in animal CNS were illustrated in this paper in order to provide basis for the utilization of taurine in the development of CNS and the recovery of brain injury.
