摘要
在反莽复汉的运动中,更始政权打着"复汉"旗号,一度深得民心,为先后控制河西的隗嚣和窦融奉为正朔。然而,更始的败亡也加剧了隗嚣和窦融的"择木"的困难:隗嚣和窦融都曾先后归顺更始政权,采用更始年号。更始败亡后,在奉正朔问题上,隗嚣和窦融均有过摇摆。隗嚣先于窦融接受光武建武年号,但仍在割据与归顺之间举棋不定;窦融在更始败亡后一度采用赤眉建世年号,在赤眉败后,又一度恢复王莽代汉前的汉平帝元始年号。直至建武三年,窦融采用建武年号,此后沿用不替。通过居延汉简年号简,我们可以看出隗嚣和窦融在割据与归顺之间的艰难抉择。
The regime of Geng-Shi got popular support by Wei Xiao and Dou Rong, who were successively ruled the He-xi, in the name of reviving Han. However, the downfall of Geng-Shi made it hard for Wei Xiao and Dou Rong to select the leadership. Wei Xiao took the title of reign of Liu Xiu before Dou Rong, but Wei Xiao was still wavering between submission and rebellion. Dou Rong had taken some of other titles of reign before homage to Liu Xiu. However, Dou Rong never had the intention of rebellion. We can see the difficulty of Wei Xiao and Dou Rong who were wavering between submission and rebellion through the Ju-Yan Han Bamboo Slips.
