摘要
"孝"是中国文化最显著的特征。以"孝"的历史变迁为纵轴,以不同时代的社会结构为横轴,全面分析了"孝"的起源、演变及其当代转化。自殷商的祖宗崇拜产生"孝"为始,经周代为利于宗法统治而将祖先崇拜向人伦秩序转化,到孔子把"孝"与"敬"、"养"、"礼"结合起来,才完成孝道的伦理构建。后经汉代"移孝作忠"的发展,"孝"的含义不断得到扩展,由调整自然亲情的伦理秩序转变为具有政治教化和宗教信仰等多种功能的普遍道德。此后一直到清末民初皆为历代统治者所推崇和民间所认同。历史上发挥巨大作用的"孝",在面对现代社会变迁的冲击之时,也不得不顺应时代变化而发生转化。提出孝道伦理应顺应时代变迁的要求,由原来适应家族主义的传统孝道转变为适应个人主义社会的现代孝道。
"Filial piety"is the most prominent feature of Chinese culture.Based on the historical change of"filial piety"as the vertical axis and the social structure as the abscissa in different times,this paper analyzes the origin,evolution and contemporary transformation of"filial piety".Filial piety originated from ancestor worship in Shang Dynasty,and Zhou Dynasty converted the ancestor worship into the order of human relations in order to facilitate the patriarchal rule.Confucius combined the filial piety with the respect,the support and the ritual and finally completed the ethical transformation of filial piety.After the development of"shift filial piety as loyal"in the Han Dynasty,the meaning of"filial piety"has been expanded and changed from the ethical order of natural affection to the universal morality of political education and religious belief.Since then,filial piety has been respected by the ancient rulers and civil recognition until the late Qing Dynasty and early Republicans.In the face of the impact of modern social changes,the"filial piety",which played a great role in history,had to conform to the changes of the times and transform.This paper proposes that filial piety ethics should conform to the changing requirements of the times,from the traditional filial piety to modern filial piety of the individualist society.
