摘要
麦克洛斯基《企业家的尊严》一书的核心论点为:是人的观念或修辞改变了世界,造就了现代世界的繁荣。具体而言,是大众有关市场和创新的普遍观念发生改变,促成企业家的尊严和自由得到维护,导致工业革命,也带来随之而来的现代世界的繁荣。以此为主线,全书逐章论证了为什么其它种种成因(包括唯利益论)均不足以解释现代世界的繁荣。本文评述了全书的核心观点及其逻辑进路,对照分析了麦克洛斯基义利观与南宋永嘉学派义利观的共通之处,总体上肯定了其对中国推动发展市场经济体制的正面作用。
The central idea of McCloskey's book 'Bourgeois Dignity' is that it is the idea and rhetoric of the human being that changed the world and made possible the prosperity of modern world.In concrete,it is the change of general idea of the people on market and innovations that led to the acceptance and preservation of entrepreneurs' dignity and freedom,the industrial revolution and thus the prosperity of modern world.This paper reviews the core ideas and arguments of the above-mentioned book.It compares the common ground of McCloskey' s thought on the relationship between justice and interests and that of the Yongjia Utilitarian School of the Southern Song Dynasty,and recognizes in general the positive role their ideas can play in pushing forward the development of a market economy in China.
