摘要
本文在对安东尼·瑞德等学者关于东南亚"贸易时代"的研究文献进行梳理的基础上,借鉴年鉴学派和世界体系理论的相关论述,分析在"漫长的16世纪"和"早期近代世界"中东南亚的历史发展所具有的世界意义,以及全球经济体系如何推动了当时东南亚的整体化发展,进而对年鉴学派的长时段方法与世界体系理论的整体结构视角在区域研究中的重要作用进行了探讨。
This paper aims to highlight the worldwide significance of the development of Southeast Asian history in the long sixteenth century and the early modem world and how the global trade promoted the integration of Southeast Asia in that era. To answer these questions this paper makes reference to Annales School and world system theory and the copious research works on ＂Southeast Asia in the Commerce Age＂ written by Antony Reid and other schol- ars. Based on the above discussion this paper tries to argue the important roles of the long-term historical approach of Annales School and the holistic-structural perspective of world system theory in area studies.
