摘要 1877年美国铁路工人大罢工是美国从"镀金时代"到"进步时代"过渡时期社会劳动性质变化和劳资矛盾不断激化的背景下发生的,是美国国家"现代化"转型时期诸多社会矛盾的总爆发。它是早期美国工人运动由被动、盲从向自发、明确转变的关键节点,并由此催生了工会、政党、联盟等组织形式,进而形成了全民运动,这次斗争使垄断集团和美国政府被迫进行适当的政策调整,通过提高工人社会地位,保障工人合法权益等措施缓解劳资矛盾,维持社会稳定。早期的美国社会主义运动也因此展现出组织化、规模化、全民化、进步性等特点,同时,对国际共产主义运动的勃兴起到了一定的推动作用。 The U.S. Railroad Strike of 1877 happened during the transitional period from the Gilded Age to Progressive Era in which the nature of labor changed and the labor and capital conflict intensified.lt marked the outburst of social conflicts in the period of ＂American moderization＂. Henceforth, this strike signified that American Working Class Movement was changed from a passive and blind obedience to a autonomous and objective organisation.As a results, the organization such as American labor union,political party ,alliance came into being.The strike compelled monopoly capitalist groups and American government to adjust their policies, improve worker＇s social status,protect worker＇s legal rights and interests to mollify the conflict of labor and capital,and maintain social stability.The earlier Socialist Movement in the United States is organised,widespread and progressive.Meanwhile,it gives impetus to the thrive of international socialist movement
