摘要
公共空间作为公共艺术结果的存在载体,对其多维度研判是研究公共艺术必修课之一。从对公共空间哲学意义的演进过程、不同历史时期存在型态以及物理性公共空间的解读有助于深刻理解其价值与意义。这种理解可以成为评价公共艺术优劣、甚至存在的一种标准。艺术家的个人创作很难界定艺术水准的好坏,而公共艺术则不同,其创作前提条件越多,则评价标准则越多。其动机是为"公共"、且大量使用各种公共资源,在创作、制作中更要慎重为之,那么在标准的建立上,作为公共资源的公共空间成为重要考量。
As the platform of the existence of public art,public space is one of the compulsory courses for studying public art with multi-dimensional analysis. It helps to have a profound understanding of the value and meaning of public art to interpret the evolution process of the philosophical meaning of public space,forms of public space in different historical periods and the physical features of public space. This kind of understanding can be a standard for judging the strengths and weaknesses of public art and even its existence. It is hard to identify the quality of art through artists＇ creational works whereas public art is different. There are more evaluation criteria with more prerequisites for its creation. The motive of public art is to provide various kinds of resources for the public. It needs to be carefully considered in the process of creation and production. Thus,based on the criterion,public space as a kind of public resources becomes a significant factor in consideration.
