星系团中的类星体

QUASARS IN THE CLUSTER OF GALAXIES

摘要 利用英国安装在澳大利亚的1.2米施米特望远镜拍摄的资料,在室女座星系团天区内共发现82颗类星体候选体,其中的18颗在美国帕洛玛山天文台的5米望远镜上进行了观測,13颗确认为类星体。类星体Q1232+134具有宽吸收线和宽发射线,且谱线的电离电势相差很多,这是十分少见的.本文进行了类星体和星系的成协性分析.讨论了整个星系团的引力透镜效应.类星体面密度因引力透镜效应的放大因子只有1.03,目前的观测结果还无法给以肯定性的判断. Using objective-prizm plates taken with the UK Schmidt telescope, author has found 53 emission-line quasar candidates and 29 ultraviolet-excess object in a 5×5 square degree field in Virgo cluster. Eighteen of these 82 candidates were observed using the double spectrograph on the Palomar 5m telescope. 13 of the observed objects proved to be quasars. The broad-absorption-line quasar Q1232+134 is the first example of the class to show broad low-ionization absorption lines—such as MgIIλ2798A—in addition to the usual high-excitation lines such as NVλ1240A. Using diffirent methods, the quasar-galaxy associations are tested. The gravitational lensing effect from the whole cluster of galaxies is discussed. However the raising factor of the quasa surface density by lensing effect is only of 1.03. It is unlikely to confirm the lensing hypotheses by observation.
