应用碳、氮稳定同位素技术分析胶州湾六丝钝尾虾虎鱼的摄食习性 被引量:9

Feeding Habits of Amblychaeturichthys hexanemain Jiaozhou Bay Based on Carbon and Nitrogen Stable Isotope Analysis

摘要 根据2011年5月在胶州湾进行的底拖网调查,应用碳、氮稳定同位素技术对胶州湾六丝钝尾虾虎鱼(Amblychaeturichthys hexanema)的饵料组成、营养级及其摄食习性的体长变化进行了研究。结果表明,胶州湾六丝钝尾虾虎鱼δ13C值范围为-19.57‰^-17.85‰,平均值为(-18.68±0.41)‰,其δ15N值变化范围为10.75‰~14.41‰,平均值为(13.08±0.76)‰。六丝钝尾虾虎鱼摄食的主要饵料类群为鱼类、蟹类、虾类、软体动物、小型甲壳类、多毛类和有机碎屑,其中小型甲壳类和软体动物对六丝钝尾虾虎鱼的营养贡献率最高,其次为蟹类、多毛类和虾类。经Person相关性检验发现,胶州湾六丝钝尾虾虎鱼δ15N值与体长呈显著正相关(P<0.05),而δ13C值与体长相关性不显著(P>0.05),说明随着体长的增加,六丝钝尾虾虎鱼倾向于摄食高营养级的饵料生物。根据δ15N值计算胶州湾六丝钝尾虾虎鱼的营养级变化范围为3.04~4.12,平均营养级为3.69±0.25,营养级与体长呈显著正相关(P<0.05)。 Amblychaeturichthys hexanemais the most dominant fish species in Jiaozhou Bay ecosystem,and also play an important role in Jiaozhou Bay ecosystem,being significant predators of benthic invertebrates and important prey of piscivores.In this study,diet composition and trophic level of A.hexanema are investigated by Carbon(δ13C)and nitrogen(δ15N)stable isotope analysis.Based on the bottom trawl surveys conducted in Jiaozhou Bay of China during May 2011,a total of 35 samples of A.hexanema(42~128mm,standard length)were collected.Carbon and nitrogen isotope ratios of these samples were measured using an isotope ratio mass spectrometer(IRMS;IsoPrime,GV Instruments,Manchester,UK).Mesozooplankton was chosen as baseline organisms(Trophic Level=2)and the isotopic enrichment factor was set at 3.4when the trophic levels of A.hexanema was calculated through nitrogen(δ15N)stable isotope.Results showed thatδ13C andδ15N values of A.hexanemaranged from-19.57‰to-17.85‰and from 10.75‰to 14.41‰,respectively.The mean value ofδ13C andδ15N of A.hexanema was(-18.68±0.41)‰ and(13.08±0.76)‰,respectively.The main prey groups of A.hexanema were fish,crabs,shrimp,Molluscs,small crustaceans,Polychaetes and organic detritus.According to the stable isotopemixing model,small crustaceans(20.26%)and Mollusca(17.29%)dominated the diet of A.hexanema,followed by crabs(15.20%),Polychaetes(13.34%)and shrimp(12.90%).There were some differences between the diet composition results of stable isotope analysis and the previous study by the applying of stomach content analysis.Stomach content analysis could provide a snapshot of the most recent foraging event,while stable isotope analysis can be used as a complementary tool to provide information on the timeintegrated,assimilated prey.We suggested that an integrated stomach content analysis and stable isotope analysis is considerably more powerful than one single method.A Pearson correlation test indicated that there was significant positive relationship between theδ15N values and standard length of A.hexanema(P〈0.05),while no significant correlation was found betweenδ13C values and standard length of A.hexanema(P〈0.05).These relationships revealed that with the increase of individual size,prey items of A.hexanemavaried from small items with low trophic levels to items with high trophic levels while the ultimate energy source of A.hexanema did not change.Trophic levels of A.hexanema calculated byδ15N ranged from 3.04 to 4.12,with the mean trophic level being 3.69±0.25.Significant correlation was found between standard length and trophic levels of A.hexanema(P〈0.05).
