摘要
洪宪帝制失败后,周自齐曾被列为帝制罪魁祸首而遭到北京政府的通缉。可综观洪宪帝制时期周自齐的活动,虽然对推动帝制起到一定作用,但无论从政治、经济还是军事上来说,他只是一个有着特殊想法的跟随者,与那些帝制中坚分子相比,作用有限。因此,周自齐被视为帝制罪魁祸首,显然有悖于事实。
As Hongxian Monarchy collapsed,Zhou Ziqi,who was deemed as the chief culprit of the Monarchy,was wanted by the Beiyang Government.Yet an overview of what he has done during the Monarchy shows that he,who has played a quite limited role in comparison with the backbone of the Monarchy,was only an active follower with unique ideas politically,eco-nomically and militarily.Thus it is unfair to blame Zhou Ziqi for Hongxian Monarchy.
