摘要
身临现代性境遇,晚清以来的文化保守主义主要回答了三个问题:一是中国文化的基本精神是什么,二是中国文化是否具备现代性因子,三是中国文化将在多大程度上影响世界。作为近现代中国独特的文化景观,文化保守主义倾力呵护和精心培育中国文化之生命,重新挺立起中华文化的主体性。今天,我们必须在现代性境遇中,认真审视这一文化景观及其对中国文化重建的深远影响。
The cultural conservatives of China since the late Qing Dynasty aimed to answer three questions： first, what is the basic spirit of China culture, second, whether Chinese culture retains modern gene, and third, in what extent Chinese culture will affect the world. As a modern Chinese unique cultural landscape, the cultural conservatives were devoted to protecting and nurturing the life of Chinese culture and to establishing the subjectivity of hers. Today, we must carefully examine the cultural landscape and its far-reaching impact on the reconstruction of contemporary Chinese culture in the context of modernity.
