摘要
提高大学英语教学质量是当前大学教育所面临的一个重大难题,解决这一难题的关键在于提高广大地方本科院校大学英语教学质量,这就需要提高新生大学英语自主学习能力。通过问卷调查、访谈,并将调查结果编码后录入至SPSS17.0系统中进行单样本T检验,对楚雄师范学院150名新生的自主学习能力进行调查与研究,调查结果表明:地方本科院校新生大学英语自主学习能力较差:学生的学习动机不强;学习策略使用水平不高,从而严重影响大学英语教学质量,所以提高地方本科院校新生的学习动机和学习策略势在必行。
To improve the quality of College English teaching is a major problem faced by the university ed -ucation, the key to solve this problem is to improve the quality of numerous Local College English teaching , which needs to improve freshmen ’ s English autonomous learning ability .This paper , by means of a question-naire survey and an interview ,studies on the learning motivation and learning strategies of the 150 college fresh-men from Chuxiong Normal University by encoding the result of the questionnaire to analyze the data of T test . The survey shows that autonomous ability of the local college freshmen is too poor :the low learning motivations and poor learning strategies , which greatly influences the quality of the college English education .Therefore, it is necessary to improve the learning motivation and learning strategies of the local college freshmen .
